This 1920s-1940s Sweet-Orr Union Made Work Clothes single-sided porcelain advertising sign features the desirable "six-man tug-of-war" graphic and advertises "Clothes To Work In, " including overalls, pants, and shirts. The sign has eight mounting holes. The field and perimeter show flea bites, chipping, and edge wear, with heavy chipping present around the mounting holes. The yellow background remains mostly bright. The reverse shows extensive surface rust across the black-coated steel backing. It measures approximately 30" L x 8" H.
