Highlighted by examples from Steiff, Merrythought, and other makers, this large assortment of antique and vintage stuffed animals consists primarily of jointed mohair bears with swivel heads. Included is a tagged 9" Merrythought mohair bear, a tagged 9" Steiff wool and cotton bear marked 0155/26, retaining its original tag and button, and a 14" mohair artist bear named Juliet with the artist’s name on the bottom of the foot. The largest bear measures approximately 20" H. Additional bears and assorted stuffed animals complete the lot. Overall, the collection is in good condition with minor wear consistent with age.
