Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
A double-sided "Thirsty Just Whistle" cardboard advertising sign for Whistle Soda, dating to the early 1900s. The sign features the slogan "Thirsty Just Whistle" and shows slight wear and fading, with one hanging hole. Marked "F6-18." Whistle Soda was created by Sylvester "Vess" Jones in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1916 as an orange-flavored soda, initially marketed under the Orange Whistle Company. It measures approximately 2.7" W x 11.6" H.
