Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
Dating to the 1940s/1950s, this single-sided tin lithograph advertising thermometer promotes Marvels Cigarettes. The sign features a prominent rooster graphic above a pack of cigarettes and bears the slogan "Worth Crowing About." The thermometer is in working condition and features two mounting holes. The sign has yellowed from age; however, it retains good color and gloss. The field shows scratches and scuffs, while the perimeter exhibits chips and discoloration around the edges. It measures approximately 4" W x 12" H.
