Offered here is a premium unsearched estate collection of over 250 vintage machine-made glass marbles dating from approximately the 1930s through the 1960s. Rich in deep earth tones, multi-colored slags, and highly distinct geometric swirls, this exceptional assortment includes a heavy concentration of Akro Agate, Peltier Glass, Alley Agate, and Vitro marbles. Highlights include a large antique Akro Agate Brown Slag shooter with deep chocolate-brown glass and beautiful white gossamer swirls, a striking Peltier Clown or comic swirl featuring a sharp white hook ribbon on an opaque black base, and a frosty light blue and gray translucent shooter with subtle internal clouding. The balance of the lot includes numerous Akro Agate corkscrews, earthy Alley Agate swirls, translucent clearies, bright opaque game patches, and vintage multi-vane cat’s eye marbles. These authentic vintage play marbles are being sold in as-found estate condition, retaining incredible depth of color and exceptional reflective gloss. As with all genuine vintage play lots, minor factory cold-roller marks or light play wear may be present on individual marbles.
