The Summer Discovery Toy Auction
Created for the 1970s Betty Boop Loves Formula 409 commercial by Fleischer Studios, this vintage animator’s commercial production drawing features Betty Boop with a sponge and appears about midway through the commercial. Rendered in blue and black pencil, the paper is slightly yellowed with age and retains its original peg holes. It is marked with a production timing chart along the right-hand side and retains its sequencing and layer codes stamped in ink "95 734 3" and penciled "SC2" and "B-13." The drawing also bears an industry alignment "CINE" stamp. It measures approximately 12.5" L x 10.5" H.
