The Summer Discovery Toy Auction
One-of-a-kind original J.E. Stevens 1887 DUDE cap gun sand mold found in the attics of the J.E. Stevens factory before its recent demolition. This original sand mold was used in the production of the ultra-rare 1887 Stevens DUDE cast iron cap gun and forms the back side of the gun with the patent date. The mold was procured from the J.E. Stevens site in Connecticut. A unique conversation piece for any toy collection. Measures approximately 12" W x 21" H.
