Dating to circa 1974, this boxed Popy Raideen tin windup robot from Japan features an outstanding Egyptian motif and is arguably one of the earliest pre-Transformers-style robots from Japan. The windup mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. The toy is in very good condition, and the box shows shelf wear. The box measures approximately 5" W x 10" H.
