This pair of Marx plastic Fire Chief cars includes a 1948 Hudson and a circa 1940s-1950s example. The Hudson features both battery-operated and windup action; the light was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition, and the battery compartment is clean, while the windup mechanism is somewhat stalled. The second Fire Chief car has a friction mechanism that was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. The Hudson measures approximately 12" L, while the second car measures approximately 10" L.
