Tin Toy Car, Truck & Robot-Glasbrenner, Lodge
Two vintage toy cars make up this pair: a circa 1950s Lupor tin friction-powered Fire Department Chief Car and a circa 1960s Taiyo battery-operated Bump ‘N Go Volkswagen Beetle from Japan. The Lupor’s friction mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. The Taiyo was also tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition, with working headlights, a yellow spinning fan, rotating wheels, and a clean battery compartment. Each measures approximately 10" L.
