Representing Subaru’s first mass-produced automobile, this original Subaru 360 by Bandai of Japan is finished in glossy maroon with a detailed red, tan, and cream interior. The friction mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. Minor play wear is present on the bottom plate, while the toy remains in Very Good condition overall. A reproduction box accompanies this scarce example from The Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Collection. The owner has seen only a handful of surviving examples. It measures approximately 8" L.
