The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Nine marching infantry figures from Elastolin, Lineol, and Lisanto form a mixed group of combat and ceremonial personnel. Most wear standard field-gray uniforms, while one marching figure at the far right is dressed in a dark brown political uniform with an armband. The lineup includes an infantry officer with binoculars, a standard bearer carrying a prominent Reichskriegsflagge, a rifleman with his weapon slung over his shoulder, and several riflemen marching at attention with shouldered arms. The metal flag is removable. Normal light wear from age and handling is present. Six figures are in very good condition, while the other three are in good condition overall. The figures measure approximately 7 cm H from the base to the top of the head.
