The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
A mixed assembly of eight Lineol and Elastolin German Kriegsmarine and Panzer troops brings together naval, armored, and infantry personnel in a variety of command and marching roles. The group features an officer reading a map, a standard bearer with a removable red Reichskriegsflagge, an officer looking through binoculars while holding a map document, and a saluting officer. The formation continues with a sentry standing at attention with a slung rifle, a marching Panzer officer wearing a brightly colored sash across his chest, an infantryman marching with a shouldered rifle, and a static crewman standing at attention. Normal light wear from age and handling is present. The figures range from approximately 7 cm to 7.5 cm H from the base to the top of the head.
