A rare early Hausser Elastolin Imperial German wooden barracks and fortification diorama features a cream-painted main block with a central arched courtyard gateway, two cylindrical multi-story flank towers capped by conical red roofs, and a rear staging area with a hinged drop-down access door for storage or staging. The hand-painted structure is detailed with three upper dormer windows, rows of stenciled window panes, and a protective courtyard perimeter wall. Two original large silk Imperial German black, white, and red tricolor banners remain suspended from wooden flagpoles with twisted cord lines. Normal wear from age and handling is present. The base measures approximately 45.5 cm L x 20 cm W, while the castle measures approximately 21 cm H.
