The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Three Lineol German WWII military figures form a compact reconnaissance grouping in field-grey uniforms, with the two standing figures measuring approximately 2.5" to 2.75" H. The group includes a running field officer brandishing a raised saber while pointing ahead, a standing infantry sentry with a rifle at the ready, and a three-wheel motorcycle unit measuring approximately 4.25" L with functional rolling wheels. The motorcycle carries a rider with a rifle slung on his back, while the attached sidecar is missing its passenger figure. Normal wear from age and handling is present. The two standing figures are in very good condition, while the motorcycle is in good overall condition and shows a suspected torso repair to the driver.
