The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Six Lineol British and international infantry figures form a combat and operational grouping of foot soldiers measuring approximately 2.75" to 3" H. The group is produced primarily by Lineol and includes British infantrymen marching with slung rifles and full backpacks, an officer with a side-slung sword walking in pace, a high-ranking officer marching at the ready, and a rifleman advancing cautiously. Normal light wear from age and handling is present, with minor scattered paint chipping along the edges. The collection is in very good overall condition.
