The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Hubley’s "Bug Eye" Fire Ladder Truck, circa 1929, is an extra-clean example retaining its original red and gold paint. Twin chemical tanks are cast in near the seat, while six extinguishers line the running board sides along with cast-in toolboxes.
