Made specifically for Arcade Manufacturing employees, this cast brass paperweight commemorated the opening of the company’s new factory in Freeport, Illinois, in 1927. Fun facts: The building was designed by Frank Chase of Chicago, while the lighting system was designed by the General Electric Company, with 300-watt lights placed every 20 feet. The foundry itself covered one acre of land! This employee-only casting measures approximately 5" L.
