The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Dating to circa 1900, this antique cast iron "Caisse" Japanned architectural bank features open arched windows along the sides, a diamond-lattice privacy screen design across the back wall, front steps leading to an inset central doorway, and the French inscription "BANQUE" embossed directly above the entrance. It measures approximately 3" L x 3" W x 6.5" H.
