Two cast iron banks are offered together, including a J. & E. Stevens Co. "Hall’s Excelsior Bank" mechanical bank and a Kenton Hardware Company "Radio Bank." The Hall’s Excelsior Bank features a red and cream painted facade with three openwork arched windows and "HALL’S EXCELSIOR BANK" molded across the front frieze. Its string-pull cupola mechanism raises a small monkey teller seated at a desk from inside the bank. The monkey teller is in great condition, and the cupola mechanism works, though the pull string is missing its bead. The Hall’s Excelsior Bank measures approximately 3.5" L x 3.5" W x 5.5" H. The Kenton "Radio Bank" is styled after an early broadcast tube radio and is finished in red enamel with a silver-washed dial plate, decorative side pilasters, three functional multi-position combination tuning dials, a vertical coin slot on the top, and "KENTON TOYS KENTON OHIO" molded into the bottom grid floor. It measures approximately 5" L x 2.5" W x 3" H.
