The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
Very early and historic, this Jones & Bixler open sedan was also made by Kenton Toys. Finished in red with a silver interior, it retains the very early "tiller" steering design used before conventional steering wheels. This historic "Red Devil" sedan features thinner casting details including lanterns and a toolbox. The toy appears all original and is over 110 years old. It measures approximately 8.5" L. The overall condition ranges from fair to good.
