Description
J. & E. Stevens, early 1900s No. 147 Cast Iron Teddy and the Bear mechanical bank with original paint. To operate: push the bear’s head into the stump and cover it, then cock the firing mechanism on the gun barrel. Place a coin on the barrel and press the lever between Teddy’s legs. The coin fires into the stump, Teddy reacts, and the bear pops up. Teddy’s rifle includes a cap chamber for sound. This bank has all original paint and has been tested and works. The trap is present. It is approximately 10.5" L x 3" D x 9.5" H.
