Allen & Wheelock pocket (muff) pistol with engraving, circa 1860. Early double-action example with trigger guard and serial number 378 marked on the hexagonal section of the barrel. Features floral engraving and varnished grips. The double-action firing mechanism functions properly. Overall length measures approximately 5", with a 2" barrel.
