Description
An 1887 McShane Bell Foundry church bell marked "McShane Bell Foundry Henry McShane & Co Baltimore MD Trademark 1887." The bell measures approximately 35" in diameter by 31" tall and is estimated to weigh around 900 lbs. The bell does have a crack. McShane Bell Foundry, established in 1856, remains in operation and is well known for producing high-quality bronze church bells using traditional methods.
