19th century Civil War era brass powder flask for black powder firearms such as Colt revolvers, the flask features an embossed design of an eagle and shield on the body and was used to store and dispense gunpowder into percussion pistol chambers, it measures approximately 4.5" in length. Condition shows age and use with wear, see photos for details.
