This unique antique prosthetic leg salesman sample kit dates to the early 1900s and is housed in its original wooden display box. The set contains miniature examples of prosthetic legs that served as exact replicas of full-size models and were used by salesmen and doctors to demonstrate the various styles and options available to prospective customers or patients. An unusual and scarce piece of early medical history, the display box measures approximately 11" L x 2.5" W x 7" H.
