Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
This 1930s Coca-Cola embossed tin advertising sign features the iconic "Christmas Bottle" graphic and was manufactured by Robertson Steel & Iron Co. of Springfield, Ohio, as indicated by the maker’s mark along the lower border. The bottle graphic displays the December 25, 1923 patent date on the neck. The sign retains stellar color and gloss throughout the central red field, white embossed lettering, and bottle graphic. The field shows a scratch near the center and a minor flea bite near the "C, " but otherwise the field and perimeter exhibit very minimal wear. The sign is safely enclosed in a modern wooden display frame and retains a hanging wire on the reverse. It measures approximately 36" L x 1.5" W x 12" H.
