Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
Two 1920s dolls including a googly type doll and an American Character Campbell Kid girl doll. The 12" all-composition Campbell Kid girl features molded short blonde bobbed hair with a forelock curl, painted blue side-glancing googly-like eyes, painted upper lashes, dash brows, a pug nose, and a tiny closed mouth with an impish smile. She has a toddler body with jointed shoulders and hips and is marked Petite Doll on the back, American Character, circa 1928. Accompanying her is an 18" googly type doll with a hard plastic mask face, large side-glancing eyes, molded and painted hair, and a full cloth body, circa 1920s. Overall, both dolls are in good condition and show wear consistent with age.
