Marked Alexander 1959 on the back of the neck, this vintage Madame Alexander Betty Playpal Companion doll is constructed of hard plastic and vinyl. She features a full head of shoulder-length red hair with bangs, brown sleepy and flirty eyes with long inset lashes, a small smile with painted facial features, and is dressed in a sheer pink dress with apron, socks, and shoes. The doll measures approximately 30" H. Overall, the doll is in good condition. Minor flaws include scuffs to the body, pink ink on the fingernails, and a small ink spot on the back of the right arm. The delicate dress has some tears. Stringing is fair, and while the body is becoming loose and does not hold a pose, the doll stands well.
