A handsome pair of antique German bisque head dolls on composition jointed bodies. The first is marked AW Special Germany and features blue set eyes, upper and lower painted lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with teeth, and a composition jointed body retaining its original finish. It measures approximately 24" H with a 12" circumference. The second is marked Simon Halbig K & R with a W on the front rim of the head and features a long blonde wig, brown sleepy eyes with upper and lower painted lashes, real upper lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with upper teeth, and a composition jointed body that has been repainted. It measures approximately 27" H with a 14" circumference. Overall, both dolls are in very good condition. The heads have no damage, cracks, or repairs. The bodies are in good condition with some wear, the larger doll has a repainted body, and the stringing is good.
