Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
An attractive grouping of four antique German bisque head dolls on leather bodies includes a variety of desirable makers and models. The first is marked EUST Made in Germany and features auburn hair, brown sleepy eyes with upper and lower painted lashes, feathered brows, an open mouth with teeth, a good leather body with lower bisque arms, chipped fingertips on both hands, and a brown and burgundy outfit. It measures approximately 25" H with a 13" circumference. The second is a Kestner Daisy Dimples doll marked 154 DEP Made in Germany, featuring brown hair, brown sleepy eyes with real upper lashes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows, a long white antique cotton dress with black socks, a crown Kestner Germany label on the shoulder plate, a leather body with lower bisque hands, and a Daisy Dimples body stamp. It measures approximately 19" H with a 10" circumference. The third is a Floridora bisque shoulder plate doll with brown hair, brown set eyes, an open mouth with teeth, a leather body with repairs, full composition arms, and antique clothing, measuring approximately 14" H with an 8.5" circumference. Completing the lot is a bisque shoulder plate doll marked 8200, featuring a brown wig, brown sleepy eyes, a good leather body with lower bisque arms, and nice period clothing, measuring approximately 11" H with a 6" circumference. Overall, the dolls are in very good condition. The heads have no damage, cracks, or repairs.
