This great hand-painted matching production set includes an original Hanna-Barbera animation cel and the matching animator’s production drawing featuring Huckleberry Hound dressed as a Western cowboy from The Good, the Bad, and Huckleberry Hound TV movie special. The paint remains in excellent condition with no paint flaking. The black outline is on the front of the acetate sheet and is slightly raised, while the color paint is on the back of the sheet and is thick, matte, and uneven. The top cel layer is marked "45-12," while the production drawing is marked "HB 45-12." Both pieces are marked with layout number "1017" and layer/frame code "D2." The production drawing also contains the markings "TR D1 15" and "D2-D16." Due to age, the cel has naturally adhered to the underlying sketch paper. We did not attempt to separate the layers to avoid risking damage to the original hand-painted vinyl paint. The paint remains intact, and the cel is being sold as found. Both measure approximately 12 3/8" L x 10 3/8" H.
