The Summer Discovery Toy Auction
This hand-painted matching production set includes an original Hanna-Barbera animation cel and the matching animator’s production drawing featuring George Jetson and Astro from The Jetsons. We believe this production set comes from Season 2, Episode 2, Rosie Come Home. The paint remains in excellent condition with some fine-line paint loss around George’s mouth area, but otherwise shows no paint flaking. The black outline is on the front of the acetate sheet and is slightly raised, while the color paint is on the back of the sheet and is thick, matte, and uneven. The cel and production drawing each have their sequencing and layer codes and are both marked "SZP2," "1," and "G35." The cel is not adhered to the production drawing, and the two pieces separate normally. Both measure approximately 12.5" L x 10.5" H.
