The Summer Discovery Toy Auction
This great early Bart Simpson on a skateboard animation cel is from the hit series The Simpsons. There are no episode, sequence, or layer codes. The peg holes appear to have been trimmed to fit a standard frame, but the paint remains strong with no flaking. This is a single-layer cel with blue paper behind it to highlight the artwork. The black outline is on the front of the acetate sheet and is slightly raised, while the color paint is on the back of the sheet and is thick, matte, and uneven. The cel is not adhered to the backing paper, and the two pieces separate normally. It measures approximately 8.5" W x 11" H.
