An early sprinting-horse variation of the larger Wilkins Fire Pumper, this example features streamlined running horses and a more complicated early pumper frame with curved lines and rivet detailing. The rear rider has been replaced. Provenance includes the Mint in Box Collection, as noted by a sticker on the bottom of the boiler. It measures approximately 18" L.
