A great grouping of four antique cast iron animal still banks is offered together, including a 1910s A.C. Williams Begging Bear, a scarce Squirrel with Nut still bank, an Arcade "Teddy" Bear, and an Arcade Rhinoceros. All are original. The Begging Bear features the scarcer alternate factory finish, with an original silver paint/nickel-plated look wash and a highly decorative, flower-patterned assembly screw. The Squirrel with Nut is a scarce example often attributed to A.C. Williams. The Arcade "Teddy" Bear dates from approximately 1905-1925. The 1910-1925 Arcade Rhinoceros has a gold lacquer wash variation with red paint accents inside the mouth and nostrils, black accenting around the eyes, and a coin slot on the back. The Begging Bear measures approximately 5.25" H; the Squirrel with Nut measures approximately 3.5" W x 4.25" H; the Arcade "Teddy" Bear measures approximately 4" L x 2.5" H; and the Arcade Rhinoceros measures approximately 5" L x 2.75" H. The overall condition ranges from good to very good.
