The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
A ca. 1892 Kyser & Rex Presto Trick Bank is an all-original cast iron mechanical bank with a clever disappearing coin action. The mechanism was tested during cataloging and found to be in working condition. Pressing the button causes the drawer to fly open. A coin can then be placed in the drawer and the drawer closed; pressing the button again causes the coin to disappear from the drawer. The keyed trap door is present, but no key is included. It measures approximately 4" W x 4.5" H. The overall condition is very good.
Condition: VERY GOOD
