The James Gillespie Estate Soldiers & Cast Iron Toys Auction
A rare Kammer & Reinhardt Kaiser Baby, circa 1912, features an approximately 11" H celluloid head on a composition body and is marked "700 K*R Germany." The doll has been redressed and retains a fourth place ribbon from the United Federation of Doll Clubs. The celluloid head is very brittle and has two cracks on the back, and the head is frozen in place. The composition body is in good condition, with arms and legs that move and tight stringing.
