This item is an antique 19th-century gunpowder flask constructed of brass and copper, featuring embossed and engraved decorative patterns by G. & J. W. Hawksley. The spout is marked Marked G. & J. W. Hawksley. The body displays ornate scrollwork and floral motifs. It was designed to store and dispense black powder for muzzle-loading firearms using a specialized spout. It measures approximately 8" H.
