Summer Sign, Advertising, & Doll Spectacular
An original late 1920s to early 1930s Pontchartrain Beach heavy tin advertising sign featuring the park’s trademark clown and Zephyr roller coaster. This embossed tin lithograph sign advertises the famed New Orleans amusement park and was made by Dura Products Sign of Canton, Ohio. The sign is marked Design Patent No. 103097. It retains good color overall, and the silver lettering remains strong. The sign shows a fold to the upper left corner and is housed in a frame. A rare and highly desirable example of early Pontchartrain Beach advertising. It measures approximately 27" W x 21" H.
