The Summer Discovery Toy Auction
This is a vintage two-piece matching production set with the hand-painted animation cel and the matching animator’s production drawing of Droopy Dog and Dripple dressed as pirates from Season 1, Episode 10, Yo Ho Ho…Bub, from the Hanna-Barbera Tom and Jerry Kids Show, which originally aired on September 22, 1990. The paint is sharp and shows no flaking. The black outlines are on the front of the acetate sheet and are slightly raised, while the color paint is on the back of the sheet and is thick, matte, and uneven. Each layer has its sequencing and layer codes. Both are marked "0164-8950," "59," and "C3." The cel is not adhered to the production drawing, and the two pieces separate normally. Both measure approximately 12.5" L x 10.5" H.
